Low-noise microwave amplifiers with limiter

ELU-Z-30, ELU-Z-32, ELU-Z-33, ELU-Z-34 and ELU-Z-36

   ELU-Z series amplifiers are designed for use in receivers of modern radars with high sensitivity and detection range requirements. They can be also used in earlier developed radars as replacement for obsolete solid-state amplifiers and TWTs or in receivers which have no HF amplifiers.

   ELU-Z series amplifiers have a wide dynamic range, low noise figure and allow high power radio pulses at the input. The last feature makes it possible to considerably simplify antenna switch transmitter / receiver what improves radar receiver sensitivity.

   The amplifiers are made in hermetically sealed packages and can be operated in the wide range of ambient temperatures.

   At customer’s wish we can develop any other design of the amplifiers, for example as a hybrid IC to be mounted into hermetically sealed equipment.

* The amplifier has a built-in filter of image channel with rejection factor – 60 dB.

   ELU-Z-33 and ELU-Z-36 amplifiers were developed for the purpose of improving the performance of MR-244-2M and MR-10 (“Mys”) radars respectively or similar radars in which the receivers have no HF amplifiers.
